People who lose excess weight fast after either partaking in a weight-loss programme, diet, slimming medicines, and/or hypnosis, often find flabby skin a consequence. Losing weight fast, such as 3 pounds or more a week, or possibly undergoing a gastric band, doesn’t give the skin chance to transition to firmness and this is why it sags.

Looking after your skin

If you intend to lose weight, ensure that you keep your skin moisturised through use of creams, hydrated through drinking water, and rejuvenated through scrubbing the surface weekly with a loofah. Your skin is the largest organ in your body and keeping it healthy will enable skin layers to rejuvenate and to rid your body of toxins.

Ways of preventing loose skin after weight loss

Besides preparing for weight loss by looking after your skin, you can start by:

Engaging in a regular exercise programme, such as yoga, swimming, lifting weights, sit-ups and stomach crunches that will firm your skin and allow health blood circulation for rejuvenation.

Having daily massages with skin-firming oils, aloe vera, collagen cream or lanolin can also help to develop the elasticity of your skin.

Being aware of healthy breathing for necessary oxygen flow that feeds the skin for firming.

Keeping in mind to pull your stomach and abdominal muscles in while walking and doing daily activities – get in the habit!

Consuming balanced nutrition with vitamin supplements, such as Vitamin A, E, C, and D to stimulate skin condition.

You may find that you have already lost weight too fast and have loose skin. What can you do about it? There are other options that include:

Radio-frequency Skin Tightening, such as Thermage that heats the skin, tightening it on the face, neck, chest, upper arms, thighs and abdomen.

Tummy Tucks that involve surgery to remove excess skin with minimal scarring.

Liposuction and Laser Surgery removes excess fat and skin allowing you to have the firmer look you desire.

Compression Garments can be used to keep the loose skin from hanging, but will not remove the excess skin.

Everyone knows that the best way to stay healthy, in body and mind, is to get a good night’s sleep. Making sure you get enough shut-eye is also an important factor in looking good, as your skin is one of the first things to suffer if you feel tired and listless. Unfortunately, many women struggle to get the sleep they need because their partner is a heavy snorer! Luckily there are lots of perfect Christmas gifts out there to help your female friends and relatives look their best or get a good night’s sleep, without resorting to a stop snoring surgery treatment for their husbands and boyfriends.

One of the most important beauty products you can buy a woman whose skin needs a boost is good quality make-up. However, we all know that make-up can be a very personal choice and it isn’t easy to pick something out for someone else, so go for fun, sparkly make-up sets, rather than concealer and foundation if you are determined to go down this route. After all, everyone likes to look their best at those Christmas and New Year parties and a little glitter can work wonders on a dull complexion. High Street stores are full of beauty sets at this time of year, but don’t be drawn in by cheap prices, and make sure you are positive about any cosmetic treatment at The Private Clinic. While you don’t have to spend hundreds of pounds on an effective moisturiser, equally going for the value brand option at your local supermarket not only makes you look cheap but the gift will probably never even be used.

You could always address the problem of tired skin from a different angle and buy your friend something to help her sleep. I know someone who swears by the musical pillow her partner thoughtfully bought after they moved in and they discovered that his snoring was enough to wake the neighbours. You simply plug in your own MP3 player and there is a small speaker inside the pillow that will gently lull you off to sleep without the use of uncomfortable earphones. Hopefully you’ll wake feeling refreshed and revitalised after a night listening to music rather than snoring!

There are an awful lot of people that see dentistry as an annoying chore in life, but to underestimate keeping your teeth and gums healthy is very dangerous. The mouth is the gateway to the body and bad teeth and gums can affect the health of the body too. Dentistry has gone through some great changes over the years, all designed to look after your mouth; there are specialists in all fields of dentistry, aimed at ensuring you live a healthy life- one such field is orthodontics. You will only ever come into contact with an orthodontist when a regular dentist decides that your teeth are growing incorrectly and are starting to affect the way you bite. This is where a specialist will step in (the orthodontist), and depending on the work required, plan for you a program of teeth straightening to protect the occlusion within the mouth. Just what program you will need, will depend on just how bad your teeth are. For some people, it may require complex fixed braces for a good couple of years to align the teeth. Fixed braces require extra vigilance as they are difficult to clean, but your orthodontist can offer you all the back-up you need to get you through this period. Other people may only require the service of a removable Inman aligner, which makes this period a lot easier. Daily removal of an aligner allows optimum hygiene throughout the treatment. The can also offer complete discretion as well whilst the teeth are being straightened- some being made solely from transparent plastic with no wires involved at all. But in any type of treatments of this nature, you will get all the support you need from the orthodontist, from oral hygiene to psychological support. You will never be alone during this tricky time.

Most people still see Botox as a freakish plastic surgery used only by the likes of Sharon Osborne and Lesley Ash, yet the truth is that Botox is now readily available to buy and inject over the internet from completely unreliable sources, making it a highly dangerous, tempting way to transform ducklings into swans and water into wine! Come on! We all know the world doesn’t really work like that! Using Botox without obtaining the necessary qualifications and certification is completely careless, reckless and potentially fatal. Oh, and you could even end up with a jail sentence.

A better, safer solution

If you’re a licensed medical professional such as a doctor, nurse or dentist you can now train to use Botox using a CPD approved training provider, many of which can be found on the internet. Botox courses are currently available at very competitive rates, and with many starting from as little as £500 and lasting for just one day, you can improve and develop your business quickly and safely in very little time at all.

Can I not just do the research myself?

As a licensed professional, only the best will do. This means training to use Botox legally and professionally using a CPD approved course. Many companies advertising on the internet are 100% bona fide, CPD approved trainers covered by an insurance provider for the cosmetic industry. Ensure you research the training provider thoroughly before embarking on a Botox training course.

Quick as a flash, certificate in hand

In no time at all you could be singing all the way to the bank with a stack of cash from your newfound skill as a certified Botox provider, so if you’re in the process of setting up your own business, possess proof of original qualification certificates and want the very best for those seeking to improve their appearance using Botox, then get clicking today. It could be the quickest success in the history of your career!

We all meet other people every day and when we do it will almost always involve looking at someone in the face. It is there for important that we look our best and that means you need to have good skin. Not giving enough time to skin care can result in poor quality of skin and that can have much further reaching repercussions than we think. It could be the difference between getting a job and not. It can seriously effect what people think of you.

There are four basic steps to skin care to ensure you can have skin to be proud of and that will allow you to face the world with confidence. The first step is cleansing. It is almost like the foundation to any treatment. After that you will need to exfoliate which will help to remove dead skin allowing you to work with the live skin only. Once that is done adding moisturizer is vital to help add moisture back. This will help give the skin the appearance it needs. It is also important to make sure you use sunscreen to prevent the sun from damaging your skin. The key is in the combination of steps. Each one is important but it is the combination of the steps that will get you results.

Skin care is important and should be treated that way. Skin is the first thing people see when they look at you it is important for it to look good for your confidence. With good skin and confidence people will treat you better and that will have a massive impact on your life. Skin care really is worth the effort.

Many people waste their time spending time and money on skin creams and moisturizers to keep their skin looking nice. Skin care is now a million if not billion dollar industry with hundreds of products available to make your skin look better. While that can help there may in fact be a much better and easier way to improve your skin without buying any skin care products at all.

It is becoming increasingly clear that diet plays a large part in all aspects of our health. You are what you eat as they say so if you eat a healthy diet with plenty of all the nutrients you need skin care as we know it today will be far less important as you body itself will sort out your skin.

Alcohol and unhealthy foods will both result in poor skin. Alcohol for example will dehydrate you resulting in much drier skin. You then think you need moisturizer when in fact all you need to do is cut down on the alcohol. As well as all the other benefits it will greatly improve your skin care with very little effort.

So if you are one of those people who obsess about skin care then think again. Instead of spending hours shopping for and wearing the latest skin care product try eating more fruit and vegetables and eating less sugar, fat and drinking alcohol.

Eczema is one of the most common skin complaints that will require skin care treatments. Eczema is in fact a number of conditions that cause a red, itchy and irritable marking on the skin. In some cases it can cause fluid filled bumps that can ooze from time to time. It is not fully known what causes eczema but it is thought that it could be to do with your immune systems handling of things.

Skin care is well developed for eczema. I myself had eczema had it as a kid. It is treated using a steroid crème that is applied to the affected areas. Many who suffer with eczema will also suffer from hay fever and other food allergies. I noticed that grass often made my condition worse as well as stress which still cause eczema on me today.

Products such as the steroid crème work well for your skin care needs but it is often a good idea to try and work out what makes the conditions worse and try and avoid it. It may be worth experimenting to work out what could be causing it although if you still suffer from it then the skin care treatments available will help a great deal. Ultimately until they find a cure we should do whatever we can to improve the condition ourselves.

When you mention to people about eating nuts many may think about squirrels more than eating them themselves but in fact nuts are a fantastic for good fats, protein and fibre as well as being a great for skin care. This is because nuts are filled with nutrients that are not only needed by the body and skin in particular but are essential.

Almonds for example are a great for your heart and blood pressure, pumpkin seeds are full of vitamin E, zinc and magnesium which will improve the look of your skin, promote cell regeneration and kill bacteria. In fact nuts are well known for being filled with the essential fatty acids that the whole body needs making them fantastic for skin care in particular. For those who have problems with their skin a diet that involves nuts can be a real help.

When it comes to skin care there is one type of product I would recommend above all others. You can get moisturiser after moisturiser but that alone will not improve your skin. If you put on moisturiser you may think your skin will improve but really all you are doing is moisturising dead skin. You first need to remove the dead skin to give you access to the good skin and for that you will need to exfoliate.

An exfoliating removed the dead skin cells removing them and giving you the chance to moisturise the skin underneath. When applied it will feel a bit gritty but when it comes to skin care products this is always the top of my list. It will leave your face smooth and will allow the moisturiser to sink in properly. You will need to make sure you do not get any in your eye as it can cause real problems. Like all products read the accompanying leaflet and follow the instructions.

So if you are looking for skin care products then forget moisturisers or any of the other weird and wonderful products. You need a good exfoliator top of your list before any of your other skin care products. Follow this advice and you could have skin to be proud of.

Your skin is your armour and is your shield from the elements. It is therefore deserving of the utmost care and attention but honestly when was the last time you actually gave thought to skin care? All during your life genetic and environmental factors will have caused a tremendous amount of wear and tear to your skin. Don’t worry though if you have been ignoring skin care as it is never too late to make amends.

Skin care and protection need to be an essential part of your fitness, health and beauty regime. Take care of your skin and your skin will take care of you is an excellent philosophy.

The first step in skin care is the prevention of damage. All the elements whether sun, wind or even pollutants can easily age and degrade your skins condition. Common complaints that you will easily recognise are dry skin, itchy skin, sagging, wrinkles etc and even age spots for some of us! Certain steps can be taken to ensure your skin looks good and in turn makes you feel good about yourself.

Good nutrition, exercise and ample rest lay the foundation for skin care. A sensible diet is good for your overall health and for an assurance that your skin will receive adequate minerals, vitamins and nutrients all necessary to maintain and repair your cells. Drink water frequently as this helps to hydrate the skin and keep it healthy.
